Here is yet another 90+ cellar wine. Remember, “ 90+ Cellars searches the globe for outstanding wines from highly rated wineries and vineyards and bottles them under their own label for a price to make you smile.” When presented on the nose, I smell some white pepper, black cherry, beautiful spices, hints of vanilla, rose petal and a small hint of lavender. When tasting, I did get a lot of acidity on the roof of my mouth when the bottle was newly opened. After this wine has been breathing for hours or decanted, its more complex flavors appear. I would say open a few hours before you wish to serve. Try this with a nice Gouda cheese as an appetizer and finish your meal with a bold Italian dish, and you will be pleased. A great deal for under $9.00.
